Shots fired at car in Tara, in Western Downs, sparking emergency response

4 teen boys have been taken into custody after a taking pictures incident in rural Queensland.

Police have been referred to as to Tara, within the Western Downs Area, following studies photographs have been fired at a civilian automotive on Smallacombe St about 3.30pm

An emergency operation was in place for a number of hours, with quite a few streets cordoned off and an exclusion zone together with Surat Growth Rd, Day St, Benn St, Fry St and Milne St.

Police have been in a position to revoke the emergency declaration late on Wednesday after taking 4 youngsters into custody.

The “native boys”, aged 14, 15, 16 and 16, are at the moment aiding the police with their investigation into the taking pictures studies, authorities stated.

“The teenagers have been situated at a Tara handle late (Wednesday) and brought into custody with out incident. “Nobody was injured,” Queensland Police stated.

The emergency noticed some native residents evacuated from the realm whereas those that remained have been requested to remain inside their properties.

Specialist police, PolAir and a number of crews from the area responded to the emergency.
