Woman dies after falling at Mount Beerwah in Glass House Mountains Range

A lady has died after falling about 40m at a preferred Queensland climbing spot with a good friend.

Emergency companies have been referred to as to Mount Beerwah within the Glass Home Mountains Vary, within the Sunshine Coast, on Saturday.

The girl – who’s believed to have been a Sunshine Coast native – had fallen onto rocks on the jap face of the mountain.

“We consider each the affected person and her good friend have been coming down the mountain… after which one way or the other there was a tragic accident there which price the affected person her life,” QAS Operations Supervisor Leighton Allen instructed reporters on Sunday.
